Amplify Africa

Amplify Africa had built a powerful position around African culture and its global diaspora. The next chapter required the brand and business to evolve together, creating a clearer identity, new services and business units designed to turn cultural relevance into new opportunities for growth.

Case Study Introduction

Amplify Africa had an audience, cultural credibility and a growing ecosystem of relationships. Our role was to turn those assets into a stronger platform for growth. We led the rebrand and repositioning of the business while helping develop new services and business units, creating an identity and proposition capable of representing what Amplify Africa had become and where the company wanted to go next.

The Challenge

Amplify Africa had grown beyond the definition of its existing brand. What began with a strong position in African media and culture was developing into a broader business operating across audiences, brands, creators, entertainment and experiences. The opportunity was to create a brand architecture capable of holding those ambitions together while identifying new products and services that could convert the company’s cultural influence into sustainable commercial growth.

The Solution

We repositioned Amplify Africa around the value of its audience, cultural intelligence and ability to connect brands with African and diaspora communities. The work extended from strategy into identity and product development, reshaping how the company presents itself while helping define new services and business units around the opportunities emerging from its ecosystem.

The Brand

The new identity created a more contemporary and flexible foundation for Amplify Africa. Rather than defining the company through a single channel or capability, the brand was designed to accommodate a growing portfolio of media, creative, cultural and experiential offerings while maintaining a clear connection to the equity Amplify Africa had already established.

The Business

The repositioning was ultimately about more than changing how Amplify Africa looked. It was about expanding what the company could sell and build. New services and business units created additional routes to market, allowing the company to turn its audience, relationships and cultural credibility into a broader platform for commercial growth.
